    “we’re doing things that are great (skyscrapers) next to the trash skyscrapers”–great description of modern advances we’re making even today.
    I’ve never sympathized with a roach until this movie
    B&L in control of everything…feels a bit ominous. Pixar was definitely making a social statement with this film perhaps highlighting the disregard that big corporations such as Wal-Mart have for the environment.
    Portrays evacuation of earth like ad for cruise…the great part about seeing those ads at the beginning of the film is how we see the humans later in the environment that removes the necessity to walk.
    I agree that Wall-E’s success was because so much is conveyed without dialogue; the facial expressions on robot–we look for human features on non-human things. For instance, we see human faces in power outlets, headlights on cars, anything really.
    Visiting coma patient (W. visits E.) generates sympathy for the robot because of his unusually unrobotic behavior.
    Eva=Eve (ironic, much?)
    the spark was like a kiss!
    I like how you finish the commentary with music.

    You had some insightful commentary. I liked the fact that you were able to pick up on the environmental aspects of the film.
